Why does Australia’s latest unemployment rates spark controversy, putting fear into the hearts of workers and why do they matter?   It was in March, just five months ago, that Australia’s jobless rate sat at a 30-month low. Australia's unemployment rate rose to 5.8% in June of 2016 from 5.7% in the previous three months.
